Your first visit to our clinic establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. To understand what to expect for your first visit to our practice, please read through this page.
Your comfort, your happiness, and your health. During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then, the doctor will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:
One of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, checking your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile! The Canadian Dental Association recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
Regardless of the level of alert in effect in Ontario, our dentists and their team continue to provide all of their care in a highly safe health environment.
Do not postpone your appointment unnecessarily. Your oral health depends on it.
Blackburn Dental Center has gone beyond the recommended guidelines of our regulatory bodies to ensure the safety of our patients and staff:
Peu importe le niveau d’alerte en vigueur en Ontario, toute l’équipe dentaire assure le maintien de l’ensemble de leurs soins dans un environnement sanitaire hautement sécuritaire.
Ne reportez pas inutilement votre rendez-vous. Votre santé buccodentaire en dépend.
Votre clinique est allé au delà des exigences requises par les autorités gouvernementales:
